On Saturday, November 5 at 11:00–11:45 CT in Learning Studio 1, CSL Behring will host a world-class panel of experts for a roundtable discussion on the current unmet needs in secondary prevention post AMI.
The meeting will be chaired by Dr. Deepak L. Bhatt, who will deliver an opening presentation, before delving into a discussion with the panel. Together, the experts will discuss the residual risk of recurrent CV events despite the current standard of care. They will also explore the potential association between cholesterol efflux and clinical outcomes. Finally, the panel will consider the rationale for investigating additional cardioprotective mechanisms that may have the potential to further reduce the residual risk of recurrent events post AMI.
